About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Pastoral Care to join our team at Lavender Lodge School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the emotional and wellbeing needs of our students are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pastoral care specialists to provide high-quality support to students with complex emotional and behavioural needs
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and wellbeing among students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to student wellbeing and behaviour
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff on pastoral care best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with students with ASC, ADHD, or SEMH
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective behaviour support plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and other professionals
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
