Empowering Learning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Pastoral to join our Senior Leadership Team.

About the Role

The Deputy Head (Pastoral) will play a key role in ensuring the school's high standards in pastoral, safeguarding, and professional practices. This will enable pupils to meet their full potential and gain entry to top senior schools, while staff flourish in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of pastoral and safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on pastoral and safeguarding matters.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the school's overall vision and strategy are achieved.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and educational programs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive teaching experience, management experience, and a demonstrable enthusiasm for education and the welfare of young people. They will be a strong leader, able to inspire and motivate staff and pupils alike.
