Louth, United Kingdom Aspire People Full time
Teaching Assistant SEMH Opportunity

We are proud to be supporting a local SEMH school in Louth, who are seeking a number of Teaching Assistants to join their growing team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.

The school can accommodate either full-time educators or those who can commit to 2-4 days per week, with a requirement for full days as no morning/afternoon shifts are available.

About the Role
  • Support pupils aged 6-16 in groups based on ability, not age.
  • Groups are no larger than 6 pupils, with a minimum of 3 staff members in each group.
  • Be prepared to support pupils who may be challenging and require resilience, adaptability, and creativity.

The school would like to invite suitable candidates for a meet-and-greet, which will include a tour of the school, meeting the Head Teacher, and discussing the responsibilities of the role.

Requirements
  • Commit to full days, between 2-5 days per week.
  • Be resilient, adaptable, and creative in supporting pupils.
  • Be thick-skinned and able to handle challenging situations.

Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expect every candidate to share this commitment.

Placements are subject to appropriate Child Protection screening, including checks with former employers and the Disclosure and Barring Checks.
