Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Sheridan Maine South. As a leading international business in the UK, we are looking for a skilled professional to manage our accounts receivable and ensure timely payment from our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Debt Monitoring and Recovery: Monitor and chase debts on a ledger of accounts, ensuring that all payments are up-to-date and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Invoice and Statement Management: Send out copy invoices and statements to customers, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Payment and Invoice Queries: Deal with payment and invoice queries from customers, providing timely and effective solutions to resolve any issues.
  • Customer Account Reconciliations: Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying any discrepancies or errors.
  • New Customer Setup: Set up new customers on our systems, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete.
  • Aged Debt Reporting: Produce aged debt reporting to identify any outstanding debts and take necessary action to recover them.
  • Credit Checking: Conduct credit checks on new customers to ensure that they are creditworthy and able to meet their payment obligations.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in credit control and accounts receivable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be able to hit the ground running and pick up new systems quickly, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
