Temporary Position: 4 weeks, with potential for extension - Immediate availability required

Location: Office-based

Compensation: £12.86 per hour

Working Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a Finance Operations Coordinator for a welcoming, mid-sized organization. Candidates should possess prior experience in finance administration. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail, aimed at supporting various finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of the inbox
  • Handle supplier invoices and related inquiries
  • Process incoming invoices
  • Conduct supplier reconciliations
  • Manage cash allocation
  • Generate purchase orders
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, sorting mail, and setting up meeting rooms

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a finance department is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks are necessary
  • Ability to prioritize workload and solve problems independently
  • Flexibility to assist other finance team areas during peak times
  • Proficient Excel skills are required
  • Strong administrative capabilities and effective communication skills are essential
