Job Purpose:
Mitie is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for compliance and data management to join our team at the MOD Corsham site. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll work closely with management systems to analyse data, drive best practices, and communicate performance insights that inspire improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on reporting of non-compliance and support investigations and rectifications to ensure issues are resolved with a preventative measure for the future.
- Run and create reports using software packages on site, for example Maximo, to communicate effectively to all management teams.
- Recognise trends in the data to drive best practice and coordinate the monthly report submitted to the client.
- Attend meetings with the team to ensure performance is communicated and improvement plans are created by the team.
- Ensure services are provided to the required standards required by contract and address areas of concern.
- Analyse data in reports and filters before distributing to the client and internal teams.
- Communicate in an engaging way, ensuring inspiring and motivating messages are conveyed across all teams.
- Develop relationships with clients, stakeholders, employees, and other colleagues, effectively promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Bring to life the Mitie values on a daily basis, ensuring they and their teams demonstrate the exceptional everyday.
- Conduct regular internal and joint auditing with the customer to satisfy contractual outputs.
- Work under the direction of the contract Compliance Manager, taking a proactive approach to remediate compliance discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Strong standard of both literacy and numeracy skills.
- Intermediate knowledge level of all Microsoft office packages.
- Fully competent in the use of PCs and other types of technology.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fully capable of understanding and maintaining confidentiality across the site and respecting the needs of all stakeholders.
- Understands the organisation's goals and objectives and can bring these to life in their daily activities.
- Works well under pressure to meet challenging deadlines for both operational and people aspects of their roles.
- Communication skills and customer focus are an essential requirement for the role.
- Demonstrates forward thinking and planning, with a positive 'can do' attitude and can flex their style to meet the needs of the business.
- Can effectively plan and manage their own workloads, however understands when to ask for support when needed.
- The ability to be calm and composed under pressure, with good decision-making skills.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage costs and ensure budgets are met.
- Represents Mitie and the client always in a professional, courteous, and confident manner.
- A team player with the ability to lead by example through operational excellence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact at all levels.
