Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Development Finance Broker to join our team at KFS Recruitment. As a Development Finance Broker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to secure unique funding lines for development and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients to build and maintain relationships for repeat business
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with lenders to secure funding for development projects
- Focus on development finance loans of £1m up to £50m, working with all types of development finance (industrial, commercial, specialist residential, residential)
- Structure creative solutions for clients, ensuring each project is packaged fully to enable lenders to provide the best possible terms
- Conduct company/director checks, comparables, and understand appraisals and cash flow forecasts
- Build a pipeline from the database, initially through making calls to assigned contacts, and exceed call targets
- Contribute to improving processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in specialist property finance and development funding
- Established relationships with lenders
- Deal packaging skills and strong negotiation skills
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary up to £50,000 basic for experienced professionals, up to £40,000 for newer candidates
