Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser. As a key member of our dispensary team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough checks on patient prescriptions to ensure accuracy and authenticity
  • Dispense and label medications correctly, adhering to strict quality control standards
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including patient information and medication details
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, adhering to established protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient dispensary operation

Requirements:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred
  • Previous experience in a dispensary or pharmacy setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role
  • Proficiency in MS Office is a plus
