Pertemps Aylesbury is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a client in Oxfordshire

We are currently looking for a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate shipments through online courier platforms, handle deliveries manually and with forklift/pallet truck, and manage delivery receipts in the internal system (SAP).
  • Stock Control: Unpack and organize stock in designated areas, and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Supply Chain Management: Place orders with suppliers, and manage the receipt and storage of goods.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workshop and warehouse areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform general repairs and maintenance on hire fleet, with training provided.


Requirements:
  • Background in Mechanical/Engineering: Preferably, you will have a background in Mechanical/Engineering, or a related field.
  • Workshop/Warehouse Experience: You will have experience working in a workshop or warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.
  • Forklift Truck License: A forklift truck license is a plus, but not required, as training will be provided.
  • IT Proficiency: You will have basic IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Valid UK Driving License: You will need a valid UK driving license.
