Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team at Aston Martin F1 Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering new and enhancing existing solutions and services to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Delivery
    • Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of IT solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project buy-in.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates.
  • Project Monitoring and Control
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
    • Develop and implement project control mechanisms to ensure adherence to project objectives.
  • Agile Methodologies
    • Apply Agile methodologies and tools to propose the most suitable delivery methodology for each assigned task.
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation processes to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership
    • Contribute towards designing and building cross-functional teams to mature the scope, requirements, resource profile, etc. to complete each task within pre-defined parameters.
    • Lead and motivate team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain effective communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide regular project reports and updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 5+ years' experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
    • Effective communication skills, including workshop facilitation, presentations, and leading discussions with all levels of the business.
    • Ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Familiarity with project management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
    • Experienced in both Waterfall and Agile ways of working (Scrum), with a hands-on approach to developing and managing a backlog and associated ceremonies.
    • Ability to manage and monitor project progress and adherence to objectives while maintaining agility required to accommodate shifts in project scope and priorities.
