We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Communications Executive to join our team at Williams. As a key member of our Internal Communications team, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and impactful internal communications to our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives and values.
- Plan, edit, and write content for various internal communications mediums, including our intranet, digital channels, and internal communication events.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to increase frontline engagement and develop content for regular internal communications.
- Support key internal communication projects and change initiatives.
- Help build a content calendar that supports the delivery of multiple streams of content and events across all channels.
- Support key internal communications events, such as regular race debriefs, all-staff town halls, and staff engagement activities.
- Provide support to the internal communications manager during crisis situations that affect organisational perception and reputation.
- Use audience insight and analytics to drive our IC strategy, channel selection, content calendar, and messaging for continuous improvement.
- Ensure our values and behaviours are embedded into all comms to reinforce and bring them to life.
- Experience of developing and delivering corporate employee/internal communications.
- A great storyteller with excellent English language writing and editing skills, able to tailor complex and technical content to different audiences.
- Excellent editorial and copywriting abilities.
- Ability to develop and deliver communications that support a wide range of challenges.
- Highly organised, able to demonstrate previous experience of prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience of creating and delivering content via digital internal communications channels.
- Experience of organising and producing employee events.
- An enthusiastic and active contributor and team colleague who collaborates on ideas, opportunities, and issues to deliver team goals.
- Proactively seeks information from a wide variety of sources to increase clarity, build new insights, and recognise opportunities or threats.
- Capacity to view situations from multiple perspectives and provide alternative solutions to business problems.
