Job Summary

Encore is seeking a skilled Driver and Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up audio-visual equipment for events and productions in the London and South regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Setup: Safely transport and set up audio-visual equipment at event locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain company vehicles, reporting any issues or damages to the dispatcher.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, responding to their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Equipment Handling: Assist the warehouse team with equipment transportation, receiving, and storage, as well as participate in annual physical inventory processes.
  • Logistics and Planning: Collaborate with the dispatcher to plan routes, make driver assignments, and coordinate with venues and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth event execution.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using GPS and routing systems, as well as automated routing software.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Possess a high degree of teamwork and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing circumstances.
