About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Officer to join our team at Adecco on a 1-year fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing effective communication between our clients, stakeholders, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications and engagement plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage media relations, crisis communications, and event management to maintain a positive public image.
  • Design and implement public engagement strategies to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Assess the effectiveness of communications and engagement initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement digital and social media strategies.
  • Provide senior management with strategic communications advice and support.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in communications, public relations, or journalism with a nationally recognized qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and web development.
  • Experience in digital and social media marketing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
