Job Overview
The Project Management Specialist will provide essential support to the Client Nursing Department, requiring a diverse set of administrative and customer service capabilities to thrive in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Licensure Support: Aid in the licensure processes for applicants, ensuring compliance with Good Moral Character (GMC) standards and assist Complaint Resolution Coordinators (CRC) with case management.
- Background Verification: Oversee GMC and background verification processes, which are critical for nursing licensure in the state.
- Collaboration with Credential Services: Work in partnership with Professional Credential Services (PCS) to facilitate application processing for the Client.
- Administrative Duties: Organize applicant information, maintain electronic records, collaborate with Board Staff and CRC, process supporting documents for GMC assessments, schedule meetings, and draft correspondence.
- Effective Communication: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with applicants.
- Excel Expertise: Show proficiency in utilizing Excel for data management, including sorting and analysis.
Essential Qualifications
- Fluency in reading, writing, and comprehending English.
- Ability to accurately extract information from various documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Capability to systematically organize a large volume of data into both physical and digital formats.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet stringent deadlines.
- A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
- Willingness to learn and utilize specialized software applications.
