Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health education, health promotion, and disease prevention.
- Conduct routine health checks, including blood pressure checks, urinalysis, and health screenings.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and other treatments as prescribed by the GP.
- Assist with minor procedures, such as ear syringing, dressings, and removal of sutures.
- Provide wound care and management, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Conduct health screenings, including cervical screening, and provide education and support to patients.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in primary care nursing, preferably in a general practice setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
