At Alstom, we're committed to creating a more sustainable future for transportation. As an Environment and Climatic Adaptations Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions to mitigate the environmental impact of our rail systems.

Your Future Role

As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collecting and deriving climatic environment requirements and providing the related Transverse Requirements Specification (TRS)
  • Ensuring corrosion protection performances using ALSTOM standards
  • Supporting engineering, suppliers, production, and quality with metallic and non-metallic material selection
  • Liaising with Environment and Climatic Adaptations engineers from other sites to gather relevant Return on Experience (REX)
  • Participating in Research and Development (R&D) projects and work packages

All About You

We're looking for a talented individual with a strong background in chemical, materials, or general engineering. If you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Management skills to lead R&D actions with a transversal approach
  • Good communication skills, pro-activity, team working, and strategic vision
  • Knowledge of climatic and corrosion international standards
  • English conversational/writing/reading advanced level mandatory
  • French conversational/reading advanced level preferred
