About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Environment and Climatic Adaptations Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in environmental and climatic adaptations to support project development and execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and derive climatic environment requirements and provide the related Transverse Requirements Specification (TRS)
  • Ensure corrosion protection performances using ALSTOM standards
  • Support engineering, suppliers, production, and quality with metallic and non-metallic material selection
  • Liaise with Environment and Climatic Adaptations engineers from other sites to gather relevant Return on Experience (REX)
  • Participate in Research and Development (R&D) projects and work packages

About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Chemical, Materials, or General Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master of Science or equivalent)
  • Management skills to lead R&D actions with a transversal approach
  • Good communication skills, pro-activity, team working, and strategic vision
  • Knowledge of climatic and corrosion international standards
  • English conversational/writing/reading advanced level mandatory
  • French conversational/reading advanced level preferred
