Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Generalist to join our team at Reed. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Work closely with the line manager to ensure efficient operations overall.
    • Support the Office Manager with fleet management, asset availability, and IT support when necessary.
  • Employee Records and Administration
    • Maintain and update employee records, including contract changes such as promotions and salary adjustments.
    • Administer the Performance Reviews and Annual leave processes.
  • Employee Relations and Support
    • Handle ER cases.
    • Regularly review and ensure staff adherence to company policies, addressing any issues as they arise.
  • Communication and Training
    • Manage internal communications.
    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and probation processes for new employees.
    • Assist in payroll preparation.
    • Enhance and automate HR processes.
    • Coordinate relevant training programmes for staff.
  • Employee Engagement and Compliance
    • Implement initiatives to boost employee engagement and morale.
    • Ensure company compliance with employment laws with HR support.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with a flexible mindset.
  • Proactive with strong organisational skills, capable of prioritising and managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in any setting.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Outlook and ability to provide basic troubleshooting to employees.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
