Job Title: Sales Trader

Are you a driven sales professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Sales Trader to join our team at ForFarmers, a leading producer of feed for cattle, pigs, and poultry.

About the Role

As a Sales Trader, you will be responsible for trading feed products on a national basis, monitoring agreed trading positions and volume levels. You will provide accurate commercial information and market insights to our Total Feed Specialists, Field-Based Account Managers, Merchants, and direct farm sales teams.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive sales growth and margin realization.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A higher-level vocational education (BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma or equivalent).
  • Significant continuous work experience within a telephone sales environment.
  • Motivation for sales and a commercial acumen.
  • Sales and closing skills.
  • Ability to motivate internal and external sales teams, suppliers, and logistic partners.
  • Computer literacy and CRM experience.
