About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Third in Charge to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of dedicated nursery practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Implement and Oversee the EYFS Curriculum: Promote a creative and engaging learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
- Compliance: Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, including health and safety, safeguarding, and OFSTED standards.
- Parent and Carer Relationships: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates on their child's progress.
- Professional Development: Support the ongoing professional development of staff through mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
- Operational Duties: Manage administrative tasks, including staff rotas, attendance records, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification: NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a nursery setting.
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and OFSTED requirements.
