The successful candidate will lead a team of paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring the effective handling and resolution of motor personal injury and damage claims. This position offers an excellent opportunity for leadership and career advancement within a leading global legal business.

The Motor Fast Track team advises and defends litigated Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims for a number of insurer clients, as well as bringing counterclaims. Fast Track can be categorized as the civil track for personal injury claims with a value of £1,000 and up to £25,000, as well as property damage valuing over £10,000. The claims received are usually for both general and special damages.

The role is office-based, with scope to work a hybrid pattern. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring a team of paralegals and legal assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Conducting legal research to support case strategies and providing expert advice on motor damage claims.
  • Performing administrative duties related to team management, including scheduling, reporting, and resource allocation.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal databases.
