About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our team at Group 1 Automotive. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and Greet Customers: Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Vehicle Booking and Liaison: Book vehicles into the technical workshop and liaise with the technical team to ensure that vehicles are ready at the promised time.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide exceptional customer service, including establishing customers' onward travel arrangements, updating customers on the status of their vehicle, and handing over vehicles after service work.
  • Product Knowledge and Sales: Maintain thorough product knowledge and update your knowledge through manufacturer-led training. Adopt a sales approach to upsell and promote our services.
  • Administration and Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence: Possess a valid full UK driving licence.
  • Motor Industry Experience: Preferably have experience in the motor industry.
  • Teamwork and Time Management: Be happy to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to work to timescales effectively and maintain a keen eye for detail.
