Salary: Approximately £50,000

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an Accounting & Reporting Specialist to become a vital part of our team.

The main objective of this role is to offer internal advisory assistance to the Aviva Group, ensuring the delivery of top-tier advisory services related to various transactions and projects, as well as financial and strategic decisions.

This role also requires keeping abreast of advancements in corporate reporting, particularly concerning the Group's Sustainability initiatives.

  • Make well-informed choices regarding intricate accounting issues
  • Impact the formulation of reporting guidelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address complex challenges
  • Assist in financial reporting for the Group
  • Provide advisory expertise on transactions, projects, and sustainability matters

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Draft technical accounting documentation
  • Effectively manage planning processes
  • Develop expertise in specific subject areas
  • Contribute to updates in accounting policies
  • Possess an accounting qualification; an investment qualification is advantageous
