Caseworker (Part-Time) - Immigration Law Specialist

We are a leading legal aid firm seeking dynamic professionals to join our team of dedicated immigration solicitors and caseworkers.
Job Summary:
- Immigration Solicitors (0-2 years PQE): We are looking for individuals with the ability to source their own clients and manage a privately funded immigration caseload or a legal aid caseload made up of judicial review and appeals in the Upper Tier Tribunal.
- Caseworkers/Trainee Solicitors: We are seeking individuals committed to building a career in immigration and asylum law. For the Caseworker role, you will need to be accredited under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation scheme at any level. For the Trainee Solicitor role, you will need to have passed the LPC or be studying for it part-time, or passed SQE1; and successfully complete a 6-month probationary period with us before the Training Contract starts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of immigration cases, including judicial review and appeals in the Upper Tier Tribunal.
- Source and retain clients, including privately funded and legal aid clients.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration law and policy.
Requirements:
- Immigration Solicitors (0-2 years PQE): 2 years PQE in immigration law, ability to source own clients, and experience of managing a caseload.
- Caseworkers/Trainee Solicitors: Accreditation under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation scheme at any level, or LPC or SQE1 qualification, and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
