About the Role

Aramark UK is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Sous Chef to join the team at one of our resort locations. This is an exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting into our Operational Head Chef and will involve operating as their number 2 in the hotel kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a large team of culinary professionals
  • Support the Head Chef in carrying out team 1-2-1s, completing rotas, and training plans
  • Champion food safety and high standards of cleanliness
  • Assume responsibility for the overall kitchen operation in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Help oversee the general production of breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Maintain food hygiene, service, and presentation to a high standard
  • Support with managing the profit and loss (P&L) and all associated financials
  • Deliver first-class food throughout service
  • Manage all associated administration
  • Manage and champion daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Ensure compliance of all processes and procedures, including daily and weekly checklists and cleaning schedules

Requirements

  • Relevant culinary experience operating at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level
  • A passion for food and service
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties
  • IT literate, numerate, and able to communicate across cross-discipline stakeholders
