About the Role

Aramark UK is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Sous Chef to join the team at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity reporting into our Operational Head Chef on site, where you will operate as their number 2 in the Hotel Kitchen operations.

The Senior Sous Chef will champion the people part of our business, supporting the Head Chef in carrying out team 1-2-1s, completing rotas, and training plans. Food safety and high standards of cleanliness will be a key focus for you.

A Day in the Life

In the absence of the Head Chef, you will assume responsibility for the overall kitchen operation. You will help oversee the general production of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, maintaining food hygiene, service, and presentation to a high standard.

You will support with managing the P&L and all associated financials, delivering first-class food throughout service, and managing all associated administration. You will also manage and champion daily and weekly cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with all processes and procedures.

Requirements
  • Relevant culinary experience operating at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level
  • A passion for food and service
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties
  • IT literate, numerate, and able to communicate across cross-discipline stakeholders
