About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join our finance department based in Uddingston. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts in a timely manner to meet monthly reporting timetable deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts in a timely manner to meet monthly reporting timetable deadlines.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to support Commercial decisions and provide additional support to the wider business.
  • Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation and posting of prepayments, accruals, and other monthly journals.
  • Verification of CIS suppliers and monthly submissions.
  • Monthly VAT returns.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Adhere to Group Policies and Processes within the department with an eye for process improvement.
  • Support with year-end audit.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
