About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join our growing team at Ultimate Banking. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and underwriting mortgage applications to ensure all lending complies with our credit risk policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and underwrite mortgage applications to ensure compliance with our credit risk policy
  • Work with the processing team to prepare case files and assist intermediary partners with new applications
  • Utilize your knowledge of Buy to Let lending, including Limited Company, HMO, and Multi lets
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the mortgage process
  • Work under pressure to tight deadlines with a 'can do' attitude
  • Manage records and files effectively
  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize tasks and achieve goals
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
