Senior Electrical Technician - Facilities Management


Invictus Recruitment Careers is collaborating with a leading Facilities Management provider that continues to expand with a strong history of meeting operational goals and service standards. They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Electrical Technician to become part of their dedicated team, responsible for all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks within a significant commercial property.

Position Overview:

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £35,000 to £37,000, with a commitment to a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm, along with opportunities for overtime.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Electrical Technician is to perform servicing and urgent repairs on electrically powered systems, including lighting and power distribution. The technician will also be expected to support other general maintenance tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor.
Key responsibilities include executing maintenance routines independently (both PPM and reactive), diagnosing and rectifying faults in building services, and maintaining various systems such as L8, air handling units (AHUs), pumps, motors, and heating systems (including heat exchangers, actuators, and piping).

As part of a skilled four-member team on-site, the technician will contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the facility.

Essential qualifications and experience include but are not limited to:

  • Expertise in 3 Phase systems
  • Knowledge of Emergency Lighting systems
  • Experience with AHUs and Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
