Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize clinical expertise to provide high-quality care for patients with undiagnosed minor injuries.
  • Practice autonomously as an independent practitioner, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral.
  • Conduct relevant diagnostic investigations and interpret results.
  • Perform both invasive and non-invasive procedures competently.
  • Lead and supervise a clinical team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and maintain up-to-date training.
  • Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Practitioner with an advanced practice qualification.
  • Significant experience in an unscheduled care environment.
  • Proficient in telephone triage and remote prescribing.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
