We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to assist in the operational management and enhancement of our pharmacy department. This role involves supporting the Technical Services Manager and overseeing purchasing and procurement functions for pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
1. **Operational Management**
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to facilitate the ordering of stock items and special requests.
- Address inquiries regarding stock supply and provide expert advice on procurement matters.
- Supervise the purchasing and invoicing team to maintain accurate contract details and manage regional contracts effectively.
- Attend relevant operational meetings and communicate specific contract issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
2. **Compliance and Quality Assurance**
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies and standard operating procedures for purchasing and invoicing.
