**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Casual Care Worker to join our team at the Beechwood scheme. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and make informed choices about their daily routines and activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide person-centred support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and choice in daily routines and activities
* Assist with personal care routines, household tasks, menu planning and cooking, medication and health appointments, social activities and outings, employment, hobbies and interests
* Work in partnership with families and other agencies to ensure good standards of support
* Develop skills and undertake required training for the role, including the East Riding Care Certificate portfolio
**Requirements**
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Person-centred and flexible approach
* Ability to work on your own initiative
* Good time management skills
* Good I.T. skills
* Full driving licence (ideally)
