About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Assistant to join our team at Practice Pulse Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support professional staff with the overall responsibility for all patients on the inpatient ward.
  • Welcoming and greeting patients to the ward area.
  • Answering the telephone, recording and delivering messages accurately and to the appropriate person.
  • Assisting in the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation.
  • Running errands to other departments.
  • Supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and a willingness to undertake training to gain further clinical skills.
  • Experience or a good understanding of a HCA's duties and responsibilities.
  • The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues.
  • The flexibility to fit into an internal rotating shift pattern.
