About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Assistant to join our team at Practice Pulse Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support professional staff with the overall responsibility for all patients on the inpatient ward.
- Welcoming and greeting patients to the ward area.
- Answering the telephone, recording and delivering messages accurately and to the appropriate person.
- Assisting in the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation.
- Running errands to other departments.
- Supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and a willingness to undertake training to gain further clinical skills.
- Experience or a good understanding of a HCA's duties and responsibilities.
- The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues.
- The flexibility to fit into an internal rotating shift pattern.
