About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team on Snowdrop Ward at Walton Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older adults with organic mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with all aspects of their daily living needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist in the delivery of support to individuals who may present with challenging behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Care Certificate and Best Practice in Dementia.
  • Previous care experience within Health or Social Care, with a minimum of 6 months' experience in mental health or dementia care.
