Primary Teaching Assistant Role in Sutton

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruiter, is seeking an aspiring primary teacher to join our team as a primary teaching assistant in Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a 2:1 or above degree classification to gain valuable classroom experience and start their career in primary education.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to support our primary schools in Sutton. As a primary teaching assistant, you will work closely with qualified primary teachers to provide 1:1 and whole-class support for pupils of all abilities, including those with special educational needs. You will also have the opportunity to deliver small group interventions to drive up attainment levels in literacy and numeracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and whole-class support for pupils of all abilities
  • Work closely with qualified primary teachers to deliver small group interventions
  • Monitor pupil progress and encourage social skills
  • Support the development of literacy and numeracy skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £18,750 per annum, paid weekly on a PAYE basis. You will also have access to training and induction, as well as regular CPD sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and start your career in primary education.
