JD Group seeks a Device Management Engineer
We are looking for a dedicated individual to play a key role in managing and administering over 12,000 devices within our dynamic business environment. As part of the team, you will be responsible for resolving escalated incidents, deploying software, and ensuring the smooth operation of our device ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Manage escalated incidents and collaborate with IT staff and vendors to achieve resolution.
- Centralize device management, including anti-virus and application deployment across various platforms.
- Create and update operating system images to meet the evolving needs of our business.
- Package and deploy enterprise applications while adhering to strict security requirements.
- Promote the utilization of enterprise services like Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud within the organization.
- Provide on-site assistance for device installations, ensuring seamless integration into our infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing Microsoft, Android, or Apple devices in a corporate setting.
- Expertise in device administration tools such as Jamf, Soti, or SCCM/MECM.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile device management solutions and best practices.
- Experience in application packaging and deployment methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Office 365 functionality and familiarity with networking concepts.
- Proficiency with anti-virus products and desktop security applications.
- Asset management skills for both hardware and software inventory.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities within an IT environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Experience in an ITIL environment is a significant advantage.
