Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Glass Production Operative to join our team at Pertemps Telford. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for unpackaging food products, allocating glass and plastics, and lifting and moving deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unpackaging food products from outer packaging
  • Allocating glass and plastics
  • Lifting and moving deliveries
  • Assisting with heavier items using a forklift truck when required

Requirements:

  • Happy to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Local to the area or willing to commute
  • FLT Licence (full training provided)
  • Able to work in a demanding environment
  • Hardworking and punctual
  • Great organisational skills
  • Self-motivation and development skills

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, rotating shifts (7am-3pm or 12pm-8pm)

Salary and Benefits:

  • £11.51 per hour
  • Yearly bonus
  • Overtime at £17.26 per hour after 40 hours worked
  • Additional holidays accrued yearly from 28 days to 33 days
