About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lambeth as a part-time Activities and Community Officer, responsible for the project development of onsite activities, audience growth, training, and volunteer plans for the National Lottery Heritage Fund project at Brockwell Hall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activities and events that engage the local community and promote the heritage of Brockwell Hall.
  • Collaborate with the Heritage Lottery Fund, Lambeth Council, and Brockwell Park Community Partners to deliver the Activity and Interpretation Plan.
  • Lead the delivery of community and heritage activities within the Hall, working closely with the Project Manager, Venue Manager, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and community groups to meet the project's outcome requirements.
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in working with the local community, partners, and stakeholders in the development of new events and activities. Ideally, you will have an understanding of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project processes and how to manage activities and events within listed buildings and heritage sites.

The role requires excellent communication skills to build good working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also need to be creative, energetic, and have a vision for delivering high-quality community and heritage activities.
