Job Title: Principal Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Children and Young People's Psychological Service (CYPPS), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological solutions to our service users.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior clinical psychologist to lead our team and contribute to the broader aims of leadership activity through audit/research, consultation, and teaching. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to more junior staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of psychological services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Teach, train, and supervise staff
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
  • Substantial experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist at senior level
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
