We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality psychological services to patients across the Fylde Coast.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month, fixed-term position as a B8a Clinical Psychologist within the Blackpool CMHT Psychology team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients, working within the policies, procedures, and protocols applicable to the service.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality psychological services to patients, including enhanced specialist psychological assessment and therapy.
- Offer advice and consultation on patients' psychological care to psychology and non-psychology colleagues.
- Develop advanced skills in consultancy and implement formal systems of consultancy within the nominated team(s).
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, as well as experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of patients across a range of care settings. You will also need to have a strong commitment to developing expertise in psychological assessment and intervention.
