We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to patients across a range of care settings.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month, fixed-term position as a B8a Clinical Psychologist within the Blackpool CMHT Psychology team. You will have the opportunity to develop your therapeutic skills in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Compassion Focussed Therapy, with clinical supervision provided in each of these modalities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to patients across a range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings.
- Offer advice and consultation on patients' psychological care to psychology and non-psychology colleagues, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures.
- Utilize research skills for audit, policy, and service development and research within the area in which the postholder works.
We are looking for a candidate with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, with a strong background in research methodology, research design, and complex, multivariate data analysis. You will also have experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of patients across a range of care settings.
