KHR Recruitment Specialists is working with a reputable gastropub in Sevenoaks to find a skilled Restaurant Manager. This is a key role within the team, requiring a strong leader to oversee daily operations and ensure a great customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in restaurant management, strong leadership and team-building skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of financial principles and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Lead and motivate a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Train and develop staff members, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in restaurant management
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
