Job Title: AVP - Contentious Legal Reporting and Governance

Barclays is seeking an experienced professional to join our Contentious Legal Reporting & Governance (CLRG) team as an Assistant Vice President. This role is focused on supporting the delivery of multiple firm-wide reporting requirements relating to contentious matters managed by Barclays Legal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the planning, execution, and timely delivery of Board materials and reports.
  • Prepare notes to the financial statements in respect of Legal, Regulatory, and Competition matters and Legal Risk for disclosure in Barclays' Results Announcements.
  • Monitor and report on litigation provisions and associated governance.
  • Assist with the Bank's external audit process.
  • Support contentious stress testing exercises.
Requirements:
  • Paralegal, Legal Executive, or other similar background.
  • Experience of collating and reporting management information.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working within the financial services industry.
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Delivery-focused, working to high standards of performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Initiative and ability to work collaboratively.
