We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Club Operations Manager to join our team at David Lloyd Leisure. As a key member of our club management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our club reception and cleaning teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our members.

About the Role

  • Lead the Reception, Cleaning, and Spa host teams to deliver 5-star standards of facilities and a safe, clean environment.
  • Act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation of the club, and ensuring the safety of members and team remains our highest priority.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall member experience.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure the effective operation of the club.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting career progression opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our members.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated manager with a passion for exceptional customer service
  • Experience in managing a team in a service-led facility (e.g., restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
  • Experience of duty management responsibilities
  • Experience of financial planning and management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and late shifts
