Overview

Head of Compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Adelphi Research International complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance controls and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on compliance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational leads to ensure compliance in research projects.
  • Provide support for external audits, including preparation and corrective actions.
  • Assist in gathering internal information for client requests and audits.
  • Build relationships with compliance client teams and professional bodies.
  • Share best practices with compliance leads in other Adelphi Franchises.
  • Manage compliance teams across Research Franchise.

Quality Management

  • Ensure TPS and AR follow quality standards and procedures for ISO 20252 certification.

SOPs/Audits

  • Develop and implement Research Franchise standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Work with Adelphi Group Compliance to ensure Group SOPs are adhered to within the Research Franchise.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify adherence with internal SOPs and industry standards.

Client Risk Assessments

  • Work with IT to ensure efficient completion of Client Risk Assessments.

Security Evaluation Coordination

  • Ensure third-party security evaluations are completed for external partners and tools used in market research.

Ethical and Legal

  • Provide support on ethical and legal responsibilities in market research.
  • Ensure processes and procedures meet legal, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.

Data Privacy

  • Expertise in global data privacy requirements (GDPR specifically) and client privacy requirements.

Project Compliance

  • Conduct training and prepare Adverse Event reports in compliance with market research standards and client requirements.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience in market research compliance desired.
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant area, ideally with a relevant advanced qualification.
  • Practitioners Certificate in Data Protection or equivalent training for GDPR compliance.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
