About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly organised and professional administrator/executive to join our operations team at Adelphi Real World. The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the operation of supporting the wider company with fieldwork, suppliers & translation. You will provide a focus on the translations, and patient reported outcomes (PRO) areas of the team. Please note, we do not expect you to have previous experience in these, full training will be provided. The role does however require high organisational skills, confidence to take on new tasks, the ability to learn fast, attention to detail and to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the business.
What will you be doing?
Translations & Ethics
You will be obtaining validated versions of the PRO tools in each relevant language and format as well as filing relevant documentation for compliance. Supporting with the set-up of internal translation tracking system for each study in translation and updating them where necessary throughout the process. Preparing files to be sent for translation and checking and resolving issues within translated links prior to proof-reading. Liaising with teams regarding proof-reader queries and reviewing/querying proof-read amends. You will also be required to trouble shoot within the programming software for errors.
Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO)
Liaising with teams across the business to understand licensing needs, and subsequently ensuring appropriate registrations are made. You will be supporting the head of department to ensure that all PRO tools used within Adelphi Real World are correctly licensed and work with project teams to identify where licenses for Patient Reported Outcomes of PRO tools are needed. Negotiating and agreeing fees for use and contracts with owners/developers as appropriate. Obtaining validated versions of the PRO tools in each relevant language and format (e.g. paper and pencil, online, tablet). Collection and filing of relevant documentation for compliance
What do you need to have?
At least 2 years working in an office environment. Basic PowerPoint, Excel, Word are essential. Proactive and highly self-motivating approach to work. Problem solving and forward thinking. A high level of interpersonal skills and working as a team player. Good organisational and time management skills. The ability to multi-task & manage numerous studies. Strong attention to detail. Great communication skills both verbally and in written word. Aligns with ARW Values.
