We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive Occupational Health services to our clients, working peripatetically and as part of our OH team.
Main Responsibilities- Act as a Senior OH Nurse, providing a high-quality, comprehensive Occupational Health service to a key NHS community Trust clients, in line with the contract agreement.
- Work peripatetically, delivering some services from the client's key locations in Surrey, as well as working as part of the OH team at Epsom & St Helier's Hospitals.
- Support the OH services delivered to Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust as required.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and deliver and promote occupational health to the highest standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OH Nurse to join our professional and supportive team. You will need to be an experienced OH Nurse, ideally with previous experience of working in a healthcare setting and be able to provide the full remit of services to include, case management, pre-workforce screening, vaccination and phlebotomy services.
Requirements- NMC registered as Specialist Practitioner in Occupational Health with at least five years post-registration experience.
- Excellent working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and OH computer systems.
- Ability to provide and receive highly complex or contentious information which requires motivational, negotiating, empathetic or reassurance skills and information may be hostile, antagonistic or highly emotive.
