Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our Business Planning, Analysis and Decision Support team, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our budgeting and forecasting tool.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models and reporting in our new tool, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial planning processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide financial insights, driving informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Conduct various analyses and identify areas for process improvement, implementing changes to optimize our financial systems and tools.
  • Create and deliver reports and presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and transparency.
  • Assist in the production of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing critical support to our business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline processes, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Participate in strategic projects by providing financial expertise and analysis, driving business growth and success.
  • Respond to other analysis requests from various departments to support decision-making, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.

Requirements

  • ACCA or CIMA part qualified or equivalent experience in financial analysis and planning.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or relevant commercial experience with a strong understanding of financial systems and tools.
  • Experience in financial analysis, modelling, and interpreting large datasets, with advanced Excel functions and financial modelling skills.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data visualisation tools would be advantageous, as would knowledge of Power BI and experience working with Vena or similar software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
