About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our Business Planning, Analysis and Decision Support team, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our budgeting and forecasting tool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modeling and Reporting: Develop and maintain complex financial models and reporting in our new tool, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide financial insights, creating and delivering reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analysis and Process Improvement: Conduct various analyses and identify areas for process improvement, implementing changes to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Financial Systems and Tools: Support the implementation of financial systems and tools, ensuring seamless integration and optimal use of resources.
  • Strategic Projects: Participate in strategic projects, providing financial expertise and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Respond to other analysis requests from various departments, supporting decision-making and driving business growth.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACCA or CIMA part qualified, or degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or relevant commercial experience.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel functions and financial modeling, familiarity with financial systems and data visualization tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience: Experience in financial analysis, modeling, and interpreting large datasets, knowledge of Power BI, and experience working with Vena or similar software solutions such as Workday.
