Position Overview:
Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within a specialized educational environment. This role is focused on providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and mental health challenges in a secondary school context.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting students throughout their daily activities, ensuring they stay engaged and focused.
- Providing guidance to students during challenging moments, helping them to achieve emotional regulation and calmness.
Qualifications:
Experience in supporting individuals with SEND, particularly those with Autism, is highly desirable. Candidates should possess the ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively. The ideal applicant will demonstrate kindness, compassion, patience, and resilience.
Compensation:
The hourly pay rate for this position is £12.81, with a standard working day of 7 hours, including an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. This results in a daily pay rate of £83.29, with potential for increased earnings based on experience. Please note that this pay includes holiday pay.
